The George Mason University Board of Visitors (BOV) on Thursday approved by majority a $300 increase in tuition, and a 3% increase in mandatory student fees, and room and board for the 2023-24 academic year, but will keep in-state undergraduate tuition flat if the Virginia General Assembly approves the university’s funding requests in the forthcoming state budget.
