On-Campus and Virtual Visit Experiences

At Mason, we offer a wide variety of visit options including information sessions, tours, and more at various times throughout the week. These options include:

On-Campus Information Sessions & Tours: These visits consist of a 30-minute information session with an admissions staff member followed by an exploration of campus through either an Ambassador-led tour or a self-guided tour with a provided map.

We recommend allotting at least one hour and thirty minutes for your Ambassador-led tour or 45 minutes for your self-guided tour.

On-Campus Visit Experiences: For these visits, the primary focus is a guided campus tour with a current student, one of our Mason Ambassadors. It consists of a brief introduction, walking tour, and follow-up information session with an admissions staff member. We recommend allotting at least two hours for the engaging experience.

Honors College Information Sessions: The Honors College inspires students to pursue the most challenging and enriching educational and civic engagement opportunities while providing multidisciplinary learning opportunities that complement any major.

Academic College/ Major Specific Visits: Mason’s 10 colleges and schools offer 80 undergraduate degrees covering all academic areas, providing students the opportunity to craft their own course of study. These visits are specific to academic programs at Mason and consist of an information session followed by an Ambassador-led tour of facilities related to your program of choice. Use the university catalog to determine which college houses your major, concentration, or minor of interest.
