An opportunity for university employees to focus their attention on tornado and severe weather safety at work and at home. A drill message will be broadcast on NOAA radio stations. A Mason Alert message will be sent at approximately 9:45 to initiate the drill and test the Mason Alert System.

The Rise and Fall of Diseases: Predicting Global Health Transitions. Presented by Kathryn Jacobsen, Associate Professor at George Mason University.

Participants will be given access to a computer and, using support documentation and several practice employee entries, will learn how to enter full or part time employees on temporary assignment into the Banner system without error.

This memorial event is for one year anniversary of Japan Tohoku Earthquake and Tsunami.  Guest speakers (Joe Kaleda and Britt Lake) will speak about the aftermath of the disaster and progress toward recovery.  A reception follows.

Better This World follows the dramatic journey of David McKay and Bradley Croder of Midland Texas, George W. Bush's hometown, as they are transformed from political neophytes to accused domestic terrorists, arrested at the 2008 Republican National Convention.  Directors Katie Galloway and Kelly Duane de la Vega will be available for interviews.
