Featured Event: Mason Staff Senate Monthly Meeting

Implications of Affordable Care Act, the Commonwealth's Proposed Pay Increase, and University Smoking Policy to be Discussed
We have two topics our guest speakers will cover this week. First, from 11:00 am to 11:30 am, Linda Harber, Associate Vice President, Human Resources/Payroll will discuss the implications of the Affordable Care Act and the Commonwealth’s proposed pay increase on employees. Following, Janet Walker, Work Life Communications Coordinator, Human Resources/Payroll, and Todd Rose, Associate Dean, University Life, will update the senate on their work with the university smoking policy. Constituents are encouraged to voice general comments and concerns to the senate following these presentations.
The meeting is held in the telepresence rooms on the Fairfax (University Hall, Room 3001), Prince William (Occoquan Building, Room 221) and Arlington (Founders Hall, Room 720) campuses and video-conferenced to Loudoun and Front Royal.
